The Spa on a Disney Cruise

The Spa on a Disney Cruise

Have you ever tried out the spas on a Disney Cruise?  If not, be prepared to be amazed!

All the ships (The Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy and Wish) have a spa called Senses Spa and Salon run by Steiner Leisure. The main spa is for adults only (18 and over, but there are some offerings for teens).

If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, book any of their many different massage offerings.  There are Swedish, Stone, Seaweed, Deep Tissue and Couple Massages.

My husband and I have done the Couples Massage in a private villa type room (you can only sign up for this while on the ship) where you start out with private time on a balcony with a hot tub. After the relaxation has begun, then you both have a 90-minute massage or a 60-minute massage with another treatment.  Afterwards, you are served fresh fruit out on a chaise lounge on the balcony. It’s a very relaxing and romantic experience.

The spa also offers facials, facial peels, brightening treatments, acupuncture, and many other treatments as well as hair styling and nail salon services.  Within the spa area you will also find the health club (with stair climbers, treadmills, and weight equipment) and a full locker room for men and woman with showers.

The highlight of all the spas on Disney Cruises has got to be the Rainforest Room.

The Rainforest Room has a limited number of passes that are sold for the entire trip and for daily access. Within the area, there are warm stone loungers that are incredibly comfortable, all sorts of showers with different temperatures and water pressures. There’s a steam room, a sauna, and a hot tub or two as well.

Unique to the Dream and the Fantasy the stone loungers are in an area with floor to ceiling windows to the outside with picturesque views. While on the Wish, there is also an ice room and an amazing outdoor patio area. Can you imagine anything more relaxing for your Disney Cruise?

Spa treatments can be booked when your window opens to book excursions. While on the ship, they usually offer specials on port days. Make sure to try it out, you won’t be disappointed!

If you have questions about what’s available onboard at the Spa, please reach out to one of our Recommended Travels Agents who can make customized recommendations specific to your interests and help you book these onboard experiences that you’ll be dreaming about until you’re back onboard!
