Being aboard for the very first sailing of a brand-new Disney ship is something few people get to experience, and I was there. But the moment I'll carry with me forever happened when Jordan Fisher took the stage and performed "Happily Ever After." In that moment, with the music swelling and the magic of a maiden voyage all around me, it felt like he was singing that song just for me. I've been to a lot of Disney events. I've seen a lot of spectacular things. But the combination of that song, that artist, and the sheer once-in-a-lifetime energy of the Disney Destiny's first voyage created something I can't fully put into words.
